Polls open for voting until 8 p.m. in California primary election

California voters are casting ballots in a primary election for governor and other state offices, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters in line by 8 p.m. may still vote, and those who missed registration deadlines can use Same Day or Conditional voter registration at polling locations. Mailed ballots must be postmarked by June 2 and received within seven days of the election.
