Lawmakers give raises to some of Landry’s cabinet, with teacher pay unresolved

The Louisiana Legislature approved double-digit pay increases for seven of Gov. Jeff Landry’s cabinet secretaries, effective July 1, while the new budget does not include stipends for public school teachers and support staff.
