Southampton man jailed for life for murder of student with ‘religious’ knife

A Southampton man has been sentenced to life in prison for murdering an 18-year-old university student by stabbing him with a 21cm knife he claimed was for religious reasons. The perpetrator, Vickrum Digwa, will serve at least 20 years before being eligible for parole.
