Meteor over Massachusetts prompts reports of booms across US and Canada

A meteor over Massachusetts caused loud booms and sightings reported from Delaware to Montreal. The American Meteor Society stated the meteor was approximately 3ft (1 meter) wide and entered the atmosphere near the New Hampshire-Massachusetts border north of Boston.
