Felon Sentenced for Illegal Possession of Firearm Discovered After Being Stopped for Smoking Marijuana in Public

Daveion Antonio Ervin, a previously convicted felon in the District of Columbia, pleaded guilty to illegally possessing a loaded Springfield Armory pistol. He was stopped by police for smoking marijuana on a public street when the firearm was discovered.
