Fire destroys South Gate tire shop, leaving owner unable to provide for his family

A fire destroyed a tire shop in South Gate, leaving the owner unable to provide for his family. Los Angeles County fire crews responded to the three-alarm fire at Rare Tires on the 11800 block of Industrial Avenue on May 24 around 2 p.m.
