Fort Pierce Man Sentenced to 18 Months in Prison for Biofuel Fraud Conspiracy

A Fort Pierce man was sentenced to 18 months in prison and ordered to pay over $3 million in restitution and fines for leading a biofuel fraud scheme that generated more than $7 million in fraudulent Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) renewable fuel credits and sought $6 million in tax credits connected to biodiesel production.
