Teen found dead in suburban forest preserve, death investigation underway

A 17-year-old boy was found dead in Homewood Izaak Walton Preserve after being reported missing by his father. Police used a drone and K-9 unit from Country Club Hills to search the area but could not revive the teen. A death investigation is ongoing, with cause and manner pending autopsy and toxicology results.
