2 kids airlifted from Matthiessen State Park during school trip, authorities say

Two boys, aged 12 and 11, were airlifted from Matthiessen State Park after inhaling water during roughhousing in the water. An adult administered CPR while emergency responders, including Conservation Police and fire departments, provided aid before airlifting the boys to a hospital. The boys were conscious and breathing but showed signs of shock and distress.
