Trump order limiting voting by mail will stand for now, federal judge rules

A federal judge declined to block President Donald Trump’s executive order restricting mail-in voting, allowing it to remain in effect for now. The order directs the Postal Service to propose rules blocking states from sending mail ballots except to voters on state-provided lists and instructs the Department of Homeland Security to compile voter lists with the Social Security Administration.
