Blood Test Lab Owner Sentenced to More Than 4 Years in Federal Prison for Using Shill to Collect Medicare Payments to Evade $11.2 Million in Taxes

A Burbank man was sentenced to 51 months in federal prison for evading over $11.2 million in taxes by using a shill to collect Medicare reimbursements for his blood-testing company and fraudulently obtaining nearly $100,000 in taxpayer-funded COVID-19 business relief.
