Dashcam video shows CHP cruiser and chase driver in PIT maneuver deadlock

A dashcam video captured a California Highway Patrol (CHP) cruiser and a chase driver in a prolonged PIT maneuver stalemate in downtown Los Angeles. The pursuit began with a Lexus in Irwindale, where the driver, wanted for multiple traffic violations, abandoned the vehicle and fled in a white Honda. The CHP called off the chase after the Honda sped away without injuring officers.
