Broadcom gets early start on WiFi 8 with next-gen wireless routing kit

Broadcom has introduced three Wi-Fi 8-compatible system-on-chip designs for high-end routers and mesh networks, integrating processing and radio components to reduce power consumption. The chips aim to address Wi-Fi 7's interference issues with technologies like Coordinated Spatial Reuse and Dynamic Sub-channel Operation, though consumer devices won't be available until 2028.
