Amber alert, murder suspect spotted near Mexico border with missing girl

A Los Angeles man, Ruben Fregoso, accused of kidnapping his 5-year-old daughter after allegedly killing her mother in their West Adams home, was spotted near the U.S.-Mexico border in San Ysidro with the child. Surveillance footage shows Fregoso carrying a suitcase while holding the girl’s hand, and his car was found in a San Ysidro parking lot, though he and the child were not located.
