Carr backs businessman Rick Jackson in Georgia’s GOP runoff for governor

Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr endorsed Rick Jackson in the Republican gubernatorial runoff after finishing fourth in the primary. Jackson, who received 33% of the vote, will face Lt. Gov. Burt Jones (38%) in a June 16 runoff, with the winner competing against Keisha Lance Bottoms in November.
