Trump-backed redistricting plan is rejected in the South Carolina Legislature

A redistricting plan backed by Donald Trump was rejected by the South Carolina Legislature. Republican state senators, who are not up for election this year, faced opposition to Trump's push to redraw districts to challenge Democratic Rep. Jim Clyburn's House seat.
