States that cover healthcare for immigrants scale back

Several U.S. states and the District of Columbia are scaling back state-funded healthcare coverage for noncitizens due to federal Medicaid cuts and expired federal subsidies. At least five states (California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, and Washington) have reduced benefits, while others may follow as budget pressures persist.
