Illegal Alien Sentenced to 16 Years in Prison for Drug Trafficking and Firearm Offenses

Alexi Zamora-Chona, a 30-year-old illegal alien from Mexico, was sentenced to 16 years in federal prison on May 19, 2026, for methamphetamine trafficking and possession of a short-barreled rifle in furtherance of drug trafficking. The sentencing took place in federal court in Omaha, Nebraska.
