Illegal Alien Pleads Guilty to Benefit Fraud and Identity Theft Offenses

A Dominican national unlawfully residing in Salem, New Hampshire pleaded guilty to identity theft and benefit fraud. The defendant stole the identity of an American citizen from Puerto Rico to obtain a U.S. Passport and fraudulently accessed federally funded benefits from Massachusetts.
