Operating rooms get AI-equipped in the UAE

Abu Dhabi's Department of Health is deploying AI-equipped surgical technology across approximately 100 operating rooms in partnership with Johnson & Johnson's Polyphonic platform. The initiative aims to improve surgical outcomes through real-time data collection, analysis, and predictive analytics across competing hospitals. The system will eventually enable data-driven clinical guidelines and potentially optimize surgery timing based on patient outcomes.
