Barry Moore and Jared Hudson head to runoff in Alabama GOP Senate primary

Alabama Rep. Barry Moore and ex-Navy SEAL Jared Hudson will face off in a runoff for Alabama's Republican Senate primary scheduled for June 16. Attorney General Steve Marshall was shut out despite his long tenure in elected office, unable to compete against Hudson's rising popularity and Trump's endorsement of Moore. The seat became open when Sen. Tommy Tuberville announced he would run for governor instead of seeking reelection.
