Mother, son killed in Montebello house fire, domestic violence suspected

A mother and son were killed in a house fire in Montebello, which is being investigated as a domestic violence incident involving the woman's boyfriend. The fire occurred on May 14 at a home on South 5th Street near West Whittier Boulevard. Two people lost their lives in the incident.
