Colorado governor commutes prison sentence for election denier Tina Peters
Colorado Governor Jared Polis commuted the prison sentence of Tina Peters, a former Mesa County election clerk who was convicted of breaching election data and sentenced to nine years in state prison. Peters had served less than a year and a half of her sentence. The commutation comes after months of hints from Polis that he would consider pardoning or commuting her sentence.
