US Army’s 7th Infantry Division, 1st MDTF to merge as Multi-Domain Command-Pacific

The U.S. Army is establishing the Multi-Domain Command-Pacific (MDC-PAC), a new two-star command that merges the 7th Infantry Division with the 1st Multi-Domain Task Force. This reorganization aims to create a more agile force capable of integrating advanced capabilities in fires, space, electronic warfare, cyber, and intelligence across the Indo-Pacific region.
