Suffolk woman ‘might have been saved’ from drowning if fire service alerted more quickly
Saffron Cole-Nottage, a 32-year-old woman from Suffolk, drowned after getting stuck in sea defence rocks at Lowestoft. A coroner suggested she might have been saved if the ambulance service had alerted the fire service more quickly. The incident occurred on February 2, 2025, while Cole-Nottage was walking her dog with her daughter.
