Coast Guard stops boats holding 3 tons of cocaine, opens fire on one

The US Coast Guard stopped boats carrying 3 tons of cocaine and opened fire on one. The incident occurred about 90 miles off the coast of Cartagena, Colombia. The Coast Guard cutter Tahoma made the interdictions.
