A new Ebola outbreak has been confirmed in Congo's remote Ituri province with 65 deaths recorded and 246 suspected cases. The Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention reported that four deaths have been confirmed among laboratory-confirmed cases. The World Health Organization has a stockpile of treatments and vaccines for the disease.
