Medical examiner: Arizona ICE detainee’s untreated tooth infection killed him

Emmanuel Damas, a 56-year-old Haitian asylum seeker in an Arizona ICE facility, died from severe infections caused by an untreated tooth infection, according to a medical examiner's report. His brother stated he had complained to staff about a toothache for two weeks prior to his death.
