Milka maker milked shoppers over size of chocolate bars, German court rules
A German court ruled that Mondelēz, the owner of Milka, deceived consumers by reducing the weight of the Alpine Milk bar from 100g to 90g without changing the packaging. The case was brought by Hamburg's consumer protection office. The court's decision vindicates consumers who consider shrinkflation a serious issue.
