WHCA shooting suspect agrees to remain detained ahead of trial

Cole Allen, 31, the alleged gunman at the White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) dinner, has agreed to remain in detention ahead of his trial. He faces three federal charges, including attempting to assassinate the President, for his alleged efforts to violently disrupt the event.
