Russia built global recruitment pipeline targeting vulnerable migrants for Ukraine war: report

Russia has established a global recruitment system targeting vulnerable migrants from over 130 countries to support its war in Ukraine, according to a report by the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH), Truth Hounds, and the Kazakhstan International Bureau for Human Rights. The report alleges coercive, deceptive, and trafficking-like practices, projecting 18,500 new recruits in 2026.
