GitHub will start charging Copilot users based on their actual AI usage

GitHub will transition GitHub Copilot to a usage-based billing model starting June 1, aligning pricing with actual AI usage. The change aims to address rising costs of AI computing resources and ensure financial sustainability, as current fixed monthly request allocations no longer cover varying backend costs for different AI tasks.
