EU agrees to unblock €90bn loan for Ukraine after Hungary lifts veto

The EU has agreed to unblock a €90bn loan for Ukraine after Hungary lifted its veto, following Ukraine's resumption of Russian oil shipments to Hungary and Slovakia. Cyprus, holding the EU's rotating presidency, confirmed written procedures for final approval of the loan and new sanctions against Russia by Thursday.
