Georgian National Extradited from Moldova to Face Charges for Soliciting Hate Crimes and Planning Mass Casualty Attack in New York City

Georgian national Michail Chkhikvishvili was extradited from Moldova to the United States to face charges of soliciting hate crimes and planning mass violence in New York City. The 21-year-old was arrested in Chișinău in July 2024 and was arraigned in federal court in Brooklyn. He faces a four-count indictment in the Eastern District of New York.
