The House of Councillors approved the Takaichi government’s JPY 3.11 trillion supplemental budget on June 5. The budget passed with support from the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), Ishin no Kai, Democratic Party for the People (DPFP), Team Mirai, and the Conservative Party of Japan (CPJ).
