Scammers posing as police cheat 42 mainland students in Hong Kong out of millions
Over 40 mainland students in Hong Kong were scammed by individuals impersonating Chinese law enforcement officers, with one case involving HK$8 million. A victim was lured to Thailand to stage a fake abduction, despite having attended anti-scam courses at their university.
