Kosovo voters return to the polls after parties fail to agree on a new president

Kosovo voters held a third parliamentary election in less than 18 months to resolve a political deadlock over electing a new president. The election followed failed negotiations between Albin Kurti's Vetevendosje party and opposition parties, which has prolonged a crisis affecting the economy. Former President Vjosa Osmani, now opposing Kurti, ran on the Democratic League of Kosovo's list.
