IRGC claims strikes on Kuwait base and US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed it attacked Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait and the US Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain in response to US drone strikes on Iranian facilities. The IRGC warned of stronger responses to future US actions and accused the US of instigating illegal tanker movements in the Strait of Hormuz, though US officials denied damaging the Fifth Fleet. Four oil tankers were targeted, with one attacked after ignoring warnings.
