Handcuffed suspect allegedly slips restraints, steals Dallas police cruiser with officer trapped in back seat
A handcuffed suspect, Stacey Huffman, allegedly escaped restraints during transport in a Dallas police cruiser, stole the vehicle while an officer was in the back seat, and fled before jumping from the moving car. The officer attempted to stop Huffman using a Taser and gunfire but failed until Huffman exited the vehicle, after which control was regained. Both were hospitalized.
