Good samaritan honored for helping survivors of plane crash near North Perry Airport

Nathan Gansert, a Good Samaritan, was honored for rescuing two people from a plane crash near North Perry Airport. The aircraft, operated by Blue Sky flight school, experienced engine failure during takeoff on May 29, leading to an emergency landing. Both survivors, a student pilot and flight instructor, are recovering.
