Booking system considered to protect popular Hong Kong hiking trail from crowds

Authorities in Hong Kong are considering a pilot booking system for a popular hiking trail and creating a new marine park at Sharp Island in Sai Kung due to increased crowds during mainland Chinese holidays. The proposals were submitted to a Legislative Council subcommittee by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department.
