Homestead senior accused of shooting neighbor’s cat in eye with BB gun
A 66-year-old Homestead man, Ramiro Perez, was arrested for shooting a neighbor’s cat in the eye with a BB gun on May 14. The cat required surgical removal of its eye, costing $848.50 in veterinary expenses. Perez faces animal cruelty charges and is being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center with bond pending.
