Oil’s Hormuz Alternatives Offer Only a Partial Fix
Abu Dhabi is exporting its first cargo of oil via the Abu Dhabi Crude Oil Pipeline (Adcop), which bypasses the Strait of Hormuz, shipping crude to a refinery in Pakistan. The pipeline's inauguration was marked on July 15, 2012, at Fujairah port in the United Arab Emirates.
