‘Seasoned China hand’ set to lead National Committee on US-China Relations: sources
Sarah Beran, a former US embassy deputy chief of mission in Beijing, is set to become president of the National Committee on United States-China Relations, succeeding Stephen Orlins. Orlins, who has led the committee since 2005, will retire and take on an advisory role after the transition.
