US military attacks Iran in 'self-defense strikes' over weekend
U.S. Central Command conducted self-defense strikes against Iranian radar and command and control sites in Goruk, Iran and Qeshm Island following the shootdown of a U.S. MQ-1 drone over international waters. The strikes targeted Iranian air defenses, a ground control station, and two one-way attack drones, with no American service members harmed.
