Transport sector calls for smoother border checks, wider mainland driving scheme
Hong Kong's transport sector is advocating for faster cross-border immigration clearance and expanding the Northbound Travel for Hong Kong Vehicles scheme, which allows local cars to enter Guangdong via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, to include other mainland cities. The scheme's extension until 2031 was announced in 2023.
