Just 5 minutes of prayer could have surprising health benefits, study finds
A study found that five minutes of in-person prayer provided greater and more sustained relief for pain and anxiety compared to listening to music in a randomized trial involving 180 adult patients. The research, led by the University of Maryland School of Medicine, showed prayer recipients experienced significant improvements immediately and at two-week follow-ups.
