Norway has agreed to join a France-led 'advanced nuclear deterrence' program, as announced during a May 27, 2026, agreement signing ceremony at the Elysée Presidential Palace in Paris. The collaboration was formalized by French President Emmanuel Macron and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store.
