A UK heatwave has caused significant price increases for seasonal items like inflatable hot tubs and air conditioning units, with some products nearly doubling in cost within a week. The Guardian's analysis found six of 11 items reached their highest prices in three months, including a Bestway hot tub rising from £160 to £299.
