Latvia sends mobile intercept units to Russian border in wake of drone incursions
Latvia will deploy mobile drone-interceptor units to its eastern border with Russia, using locally manufactured drones from Origin Robotics and Eraser, to counter increasing drone incursions. The move follows recent Ukrainian drone incidents in Latvian airspace and a government collapse, with plans to transition to automated systems for long-term border security.
